ABOUT THE PROGRAM
The Honours Diploma in Banking & Financial Services (HDBFS) is a four term program which enables the student to broad base his or her career options in the BFSI sector.

Besides covering important foundation and core modules in banking and financial services in the first two terms, the third term offers a student, adequate inputs in managing customer relationships and skills in business communication.

The fourth term is an exclusive electives term that allows a student to get specialized knowledge and skills with coverage of management topics.

ELIGIBILITY FOR PLACEMENT FACILITY

    * For Graduates: Born on or after 1st February 1985, with >=50% in Graduation.
    * For College Sudents:Pursuing 2nd/3rd year of graduation with >=50% marks.
    * Candidates with work experience can also apply.

PROGRAM SCHEDULE
A candidate can pursue the program at IFBI with the classroom contact time of 2hrs (part time) or 5 hrs (full time). The Student needs to schedule 2 hrs of self study per day. Supervised self study takes place after the class work. In addition to the formal classroom sessions, students may be required to participate in collaborative projects and assignments, e-learning and other reference work. To expedite the program, students may have to work on some local holidays.

SELECTION PROCESS
The admission to IFBI program is granted based on the performance in personal interview and the IFBI Common Entrance Test (or IFBI Aptitude Assessment Test) . Continued academic excellence is must and students who perform well in DBFS program and meet the subsequent selection criteria will be considered for the program upgrades.

* If a student successfully completes Term I, II and III before appearing for the final year exam of Bachelor's Degree, the student will be awarded Advanced Diploma in Banking and Financial Services (ADBFS).
** Term IV can be commenced only after graduation.

PLACEMENT FACILITY
Placement Assistance facility is extended to all students on successful completion of PGDBFS/HDBFS programs subject to meeting the academic and placement norms.

EVALUATION AND CERTIFICATION
The classroom learning is evaluated through evaluation instruments like online tests, quizzes, assignments and project-work.

To qualify for the award of the program title, candidates should have scored a minimum of 50% marks in the program.
